Samples From the Field 2014-2015
Samples From the Field is a new group of etchings and screenprints. This body of work addresses the concept of a "field of study" as a physical space one can experience, explore, inhabit, and collect from. I use mapmaking motifs layered with organic line work and geometric shapes to interpret the ways information is gathered, processed, and disseminated.
